COVID-19; Blame is for God and Small Children |
Unless you are a person that firmly believes there will be a second wave – or even that there might be a second wave – the reactions and measures taken to the COVID-19 pandemic are starting to calm down and the world is beginning to unwind the measures that have been put in place; albeit to varying degrees and velocities and with little consistency. On thing is for certain; this event will be studied for years to come as data is gathered, scrubbed, and harmonized so that proper analysis can take place. Unfortunately, another thing which is as certain is that the analysis will be politicized – with a priority of placing blame being a primary driver of the analysis and the outcomes. by Joseph Paris |

Social Distancing Enablement for your Plant With the COVID-19 pandemic, we have entered a very strange time, a transformative time. The questions most asked will be; Do employees need to work so close together without real reason? What are those reasons? Do these restrictions strike a balance between health and safety and maintaining morale? How will these changes affect the existing communication protocols? What are the risks, and how these risks can be mitigated? Click the link below for some insights into what the future of plant operation in the post-COVID world might look like and how to meet those challenges. by Andreas Eschbach |

Looking Forward: A Post COVID-19 Playbook for Winning on the Other Side |
As as Eagle Scout, the motto of “Be Prepared” has served me well when camping outdoors, navigating young adulthood, and also as a global business leader and parent. A much better answer as business leaders is to “Be Prepared” now so that our organizations and employees will be better equipped to successfully compete in the “new normal” world that lies ahead. Although truly transformational change is by definition unique, I have found that a playbook built around People, Culture Change, and Business Processes is usually a good place to start: By: Jim Junker |
