As the Economist has it, some traditional businesses are thriving in an age of disruptive innovation. While management gurus may tell people to bow down before the great god of disruptive innovation, some other companies are cheerfully doing the opposite: Preserving or resuscitating traditional technologies and business models. Moreover, there are plenty of other examples of re-emergent technologies.
