10 Principles of Organization Design

The Editors of the Operational Excellence Society are usually not big fans of “Lists” – we find that they are usually very elementary.  But we find an exception in this article by Gary Neilson,  Jaime Estupinan and Bhusha Sethi as published on the Industry Week website (June 23, 2015).

The article speaks about the basic elements that go into the design of an organization, which is all well and good.  But what differentiates this article from so many others is the guidance offered with respect to prioritization, what to emphasize, what to de-emphasize, as well as what is important versus what is less important.  A good read…
