Small Island for Sale
With Britain attracting so many foreign investments to their shores, one has to wonder if they are shooting themselves in the foot? If local owners were majority share holders, one would assume that job creation would be on the rise and that more employment opportunities would be created locally, thus empowering the community. By selling to investors there is a crude and small chance that investors might close up shop once they get what they want. Surely the better move would be to strengthen your own economy by not selling off your biggest companies… Or are they on to something?
