Is there a way for two alpha-males to get a long? Do alpha-males attract alpha-males or do they thrive in an environment where they are able to run the rule over others? We take a look at the relationship between two superpower countries, states with a dominant position in international relations, states that are characterized by their ability to influence or project power on a global scale, namely the America and China. The past week produced a sharp reminder of how sensitive the relationship can be—and how quickly it might spin out of control.
