Mobile Tracking: The Spy in your Pocket

Research findings have recently indicated that your Apple mobile phone is even more powerful than you anticipated. A database file has been found in computers – synced with Apple’s iPhones and iPads – that contains unencrypted details of the iPhone owners’ travels over the past year. A date-location style log found within this database indicates that mobile tracking on mass had been taking place. Whether intentional on Apple’s behalf or not (they have denied the tracking allegations), the company have and will continue to come under scrutiny for having allowed such an invasion of privacy to unfold. And the chances are that they won’t be the only ones being watched. Experts have indicated that the wholesale tracking and collection of information about people’s behavior while on the move has been predicted to increase dramatically.
