Turkey knows a thing or two about how to tap into a market. Its recent rise of internet companies targeting young people with credit cards has resulted in massive financial success and nothing short of a business boom. Turkish internet firms believe think they have a solid foundation from which to expand, specifically into the Middle East and North Africa. An example of one such company is Peak Games. Many other companies are hoping to follow in their footsteps. Unfortunately, while a number of these Turkish internet companies have brought foreign money into the country, Turkey itself has been short of “angel” investors willing to help fund and grow such startups. That, however, is changing fast.
