Turning Potential into Success: The Missing Link in Leadership Development
Harvard Business Review contends that organizations world-wide are lacking in one key department – a crucial obstacle to their success: Leadership Development. According to the findings of relative research done by the Corporate Executive Board, the problem isn’t a lack of internal talent perse, but rather there are other identifiable predictors – curiosity, insight, engagement, and determination. That said, whilst the statistics are positive, with 72% of managers in their global database that demonstrate the potential to actually grow into C-suite roles, the “missing link” between turning potential into success evades one too many organizations that are still failing to fully develop their prospective leaders.
