Keeping it under your hat: Beautiful minds, wasted

Apple and Tesla are two of the world’s most talked-about companies. They are also two of the most vertically integrated. Apple not only writes much of its own software, but designs its own chips and runs its own shops. Tesla, on the other hand, is another multi-billion venture that aims to transform the world’s power consumption and reverse the effects of global warming. No doubt, that the brains behind these companies can be considered along the likes of human-superheros. So, what happens when an old management idea gets a new lease on life? Moreover, what happens when beautiful minds are wasted – by keeping their brains under their hats?
